Morgane Tschiember was born in Brest in 1976 and lives and works in Paris. The artist works with all materials, all media, from books to monumental installations, including photography and objects made of metal, ceramics, glass and wood, without the list being exhaustive. She proceeds by simultaneous bifurcations and successive round trips, thus creating her own navigation system. Very influenced by the minimalist movement, her work has nevertheless taken an almost romantic direction in recent years. Offering a feminine, organic and sensual work, Morgane Tschiember integrates in her work today prints of her body and her breath. She graduated from the École Européenne Supérieure d'Art de Bretagne in Quimper in 1999 and from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2002. She was awarded the Prix Jeune Création / Espace Paul Ricard in 2001.
