Bertrand Planes born in 1975 in Perpignan. Lives and works in Paris. A plastic artist-programmer who studied at the Ecole National Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris and the Ecole Superieure d'Arts in Grenoble, Bertrand Planes is known for his questioning of the purpose of the art object. He develops video systems, finalizes complex technical processes during his collaborations with researchers at the CNRS ( French national scientific research center) and creates new tools using existing mechanism that he complies and then rearranges.
